The hotel's decoration was simply charming, with vibrant colors and intricate designs that added a touch of elegance to the yurts. The general areas were well-maintained and cozy, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for people of all ages. The children working there were always willing to lend a helping hand and made sure I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay.
I would have liked to see more organized activities specifically tailored for senior guests.

We got great value for our money at Jurten Camp Almaluu. The room was cozy with a warm yurt and comfortable bedding. The location was peaceful with beautiful mountain views. The staff treated us well and were very friendly.
The morning meal could have been better with more variety and options.

I absolutely loved the traditional decorations throughout the camp. The colorful tapestries and beautiful patterns on the yurts made me feel like I was truly immersed in the Kyrgyz culture. The general areas, such as the shared lounge and dining area, were cozy and inviting, making it easy for senior people like me to relax and socialize with other guests. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior guests, with well-maintained pathways and comfortable seating areas scattered around the camp for rest breaks.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or programs specifically designed for senior people. While the children working there were incredibly helpful and accommodating, it would have been nice to have some tailored activities or excursions that catered to the needs and interests of older guests.

I recently stayed at Jurten Camp Almaluu for two nights and it was an exceptional experience. The welcoming staff and the unique folk and national atmosphere made me feel right at home. I was particularly impressed by the architecture of the "room" and the peacefulness of the location, nestled near a beautiful apple garden and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was only a short ten-minute walk to the sandy beach of Issyk-Kul. The presence of kind dogs and a cozy cat added to the warm and welcoming vibe. Special thanks to Nuriipa for organizing my stay!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I had the pleasure of freezing my butt off in a yurt with no door, insulation, or heater. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Staff couldn't care less about cleanliness or communication in English.
Who needs warmth and comfort when you can have a freezing yurt and unappetizing food? So glad I had this unique experience!

We had an absolutely mind-blowing time at this hidden gem. The serene surroundings, breathtaking mountain views, and stunning Issyk-kul lake made us feel like we were in paradise. The camp is filled with jaw-dropping artwork created by local artists, adding a touch of uniqueness to the whole experience. Our cozy and warm yurt provided the perfect setting for a restful night's sleep. The icing on the cake was the delicious local cuisine that we couldn't get enough of. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with our travel plans, and their excellent English communication skills made everything a breeze. We can't recommend this place enough!

The food was divine, the yurts were spotless, and the staff were as helpful as can be. Absolutely charming!
I just love paying 550 Som for a meal, especially when the yurts are freezing. And who needs cities nearby when you're starving for coffee?

The staff were incredibly welcoming and super friendly. The food was mind-blowingly delicious. They even asked us what we wanted for our last night's dinner and were very accommodating. They arranged a driver to take us on jaw-dropping trips to Fairy Tale Canyon, a stunning waterfall, and Karakol. We also had a blast horseback riding. The dinners in the main Jurt were excellent and so comfortable, even when it rained. The staff was also very helpful in organizing trips and classes in the local village. Thank goodness for the free WiFi in the main Jurt! And the camp itself was beyond incredible, striking a perfect balance between traditional style and modern comfort. The showers were clean and hot, the food was high quality, and it's just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The whole structure is simply beautiful and well made.

Great traditional yurt experience with cosy fire and natural materials. Friendly staff served delicious and affordable meals. Convenient location with a peaceful ambiance and beautiful mountain views.
Difficult to contact the property and basic toilet facilities/showers. One yurt had a faulty chimney, requiring a move for safety reasons.

Comfortable yurts, friendly staff, engaging conversation with fellow travelers, delicious dinners, helpful in organizing tours and classes, WiFi available in main yurt.
Nothing, all excellent.

I had a wonderful authentic yurt experience at Jurten Camp Almaluu. The yurts were made of natural materials and felt quite cozy, especially when they lit a fire for us during the rainy and windy conditions. The food was agreeable and not expensive, and the staff were all very willing to please. We even got to attend a local children's birthday party with dancing and music, which was an excellent interaction with the locals. The peaceful location offered stunning mountain views and a 20-minute walk to the lake. I highly recommend this unique and culturally immersive stay at Jurten Camp Almaluu.

The triple room at Jurten Camp Almaluu has a private entrance, which I absolutely loved! It made me feel like I had my own little cozy hideaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the camp. As a business traveler, I appreciate the extra privacy and peace that this feature provided.
The quadruple room, on the other hand, had a tea/coffee maker, which, to be honest. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others would find it quite convenient.
